The Ridgewood Generals will head out on the road to square off against the Indian Valley Braves at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
While Ridgewood couldn't quite beat the Blue Devils on Saturday, the three-point margin was a huge improvement compared to the 50-point defeat they were dealt on Wednesday. Ridgewood fell just short of the Blue Devils by a score of 52-49. Ridgewood has been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.
Meanwhile, Indian Valley ended up a good deal behind the Trojans on Saturday and lost 48-29. While losing is never fun, Indian Valley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 471st, while the Trojans are ranked 107th).
Ridgewood's loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-5. As for Indian Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 14 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season.
Ridgewood was able to grind out a solid win over the Braves in their previous meeting back in January, winning 51-44. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ridgewood since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
