The Juarez-Lincoln Huskies's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their seventh straight defeat. They had to suffer through a rough 79-42 loss at the hands of Palmview. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Juarez-Lincoln in their matchups with the Lobos: they've now lost eight in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Palmview to victory, but perhaps none more so than Adrian Ibarra, who scored 23 points along with seven steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jose L gonzalez, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Juarez-Lincoln has traveled a rocky road recently having lost 21 of their last 22 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-28 record this season. As for Palmview, their win bumped their record up to 23-11.
Juarez-Lincoln will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Martin presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Huskies in Texas (the Tigers are ranked 645th, while the Huskies are ranked 1521st). As for Palmview, they will head out on the road to challenge the Gladiators at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
