Red Cloud will challenge Todd County on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. The team will be hoping to continue their now three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.
Red Cloud were fully in charge last week, breezing past St. Francis Indian 57-0. Red Cloud were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Meanwhile, Todd County put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They took their match against Little Wound by a conclusive 44-14 score. With Todd County ahead 30-6 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Their wins lifted both teams to an identical 3-1. Given their high-scoring efforts against their previous opponents, it will be interesting to see how far up these teams can run up the score.
