Summit Christian Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as St. Michael the Archangel apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.
When it comes to explaining why Summit Christian Academy lost on Monday, one person who can't be blamed is Max Rieger. Despite the final result, he scored 24 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kash Pritchard, who scored nine points.
Summit Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 18-7. As for St. Michael the Archangel, their win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-8.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Summit Christian Academy will take on University Academy Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. Michael the Archangel, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Barstow at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
