Indio won against Yucca Valley  last Thursday with 18  runs and they decided to stick to that  run total again  on Monday. Everything went the Rajahs' way against the Twentynine Palms Wildcats as they made off with  an  18-2 win. The Rajahs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by six  runs or more this season.
 Alyssa Perez made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out seven over six innings pitched. Those  seven  strikeouts gave  her a new career-high. She was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run while going 3-for-5.
 In other batting news,  Jaeda Diaz was a standout: she got on base  in four of her five plate appearances with one  home run, three  runs,  and three  RBI.  Clover Cordova also deserves some recognition as  she  snagged her first  stolen base of the season.
 Indio was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .514. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Twentynine Palms only posted a  batting average of  .231.
Indio's victory was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 12-10. The  road  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Twentynine Palms, their loss  ended  a  seven-game streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 11-4.
Indio will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Wildcats: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
