After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Marble Falls, Devine was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Carrizo Springs Wildcats by a score of 28-20. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Warhorses / Arabians as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Devine was led to victory by ENOCH HALL and KARTER BROWN. HALL rushed for 105 yards and one touchdown, while BROWN rushed for 27 yards and a pair of scores.

Devine picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 2-5. As for Carrizo Springs, they dropped their record down to 2-5 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Devine wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 34-0 win against Pearsall on the 17th. As for Carrizo Springs, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 42-7 victory against San Antonio Memorial on the 17th.
