Basketball Recap: Erskine Academy's Winning Streak Snapped at Three Games

After flying high against Maine Central Institute last Friday, Erskine Academy came back down to earth. The Erskine Academy Eagles took a 58-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Maine Central Institute Huskies on Saturday. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Huskies earlier this season, when they won 62-26.

The loss snapped Erskine Academy's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-4 record. As for Maine Central Institute, they moved to 2-6 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Erskine Academy will challenge Morse at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Maine Central Institute and Maranacook will round out the year against one another at at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
