The Kerman Lions will be playing at home against the Golden West Trailblazers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Kerman can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 28-6 margin over Washington Union. The victory was familiar territory for Kerman who now have three in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Kerman to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jacob Molina, who rushed for 16 yards and a touchdown, and also caught a touchdown. The team also got some help courtesy of Adrian Torres, who threw for 228 yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Golden West was not the first on the board last Friday, but they got there more often. They came out on top against El Diamante by a score of 21-10. The victory was just what Golden West needed coming off of a 35-7 loss in their prior matchup.
The critical scores for Golden West came from Raymon Velazquez, Jayden Najera, and Mason Shonk.
Kerman's victory bumped their record up to 5-5. As for Golden West, their win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-7.
Kerman suffered a grim 51-30 defeat to Golden West when the teams last played back in November of 2018. Will Kerman have more luck at home instead of on the road?
