Pine Creek is 9-1 against Rampart since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Eagles will face off against the Rams at 4:00 p.m. Pine Creek knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Rampart likes a good challenge.
On Thursday, Pine Creek got the win against Fountain-Fort Carson by a conclusive 11-1. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Tristan Mullis made a splash no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three runs and one triple. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season.
In other pitching news, Matthew Brady looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season.
Back at the plate, Pine Creek got a massive performance out of Aiden Wilson, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run. That's the most stolen bases Wilson has posted since back in March. Brayden Moreno was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and two doubles.
Pine Creek was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .519. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .364 or higher in six consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Rampart was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 16-10 to Lewis-Palmer.
Brayden Valdez made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run. Another player making a difference was Justus Derickson, who went 2-for-5 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
Pine Creek's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-3. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.6 runs over those games. As for Rampart, their loss dropped their record down to 3-11.
Pine Creek was able to grind out a solid win over Rampart in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, winning 7-4. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rams turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
