Bloomfield is 4-0 against Chambers/Wheeler Central since January of 2020, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Bloomfield Bees will be playing in front of their home fans against the Chambers/Wheeler Central Renegades at 7:30 p.m. Bloomfield will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
Two weeks ago, Bloomfield was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 51-45 to Elgin/Pope John. Bloomfield has not had much luck with Elgin/Pope John recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Mason Mackeprang, who scored 15 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Beau Eisenhauer, who scored ten points.
Meanwhile, Chambers/Wheeler Central was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 44-40 to Boyd County. Chambers/Wheeler Central has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Bloomfield's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Chambers/Wheeler Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11.
Bloomfield beat Chambers/Wheeler Central 45-34 when the teams last played back in January of 2023. Will Bloomfield repeat their success, or does Chambers/Wheeler Central have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
