Roman Morales Delivers Electric Effort Vs Chisholm Trail
Roman Morales's big game helped extend Saginaw's winning streak to 11 on Friday. Morales did his part (and then some), rushing for 148 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries, while also throwing for 161 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 passes for the 'W'. Those 148 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
Saginaw's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-0. Morales and Saginaw will face off against Azle at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

North Side's Losing Streak Is No More Thanks to Trustin Holland
Thanks in part to Trustin Holland, North Side said goodbye to their four-game losing streak. Nobody could stop Holland on Thursday as he rushed for 100 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries, and also threw for 77 yards and two touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes. He has become a key player for North Side: the team is 4-2 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 0-4 otherwise.

Big Game from Montgomery As North Side Won 50-13
Deandre Montgomery posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Thursday. He rushed for 160 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 72-yard run.
Unfortunately for Trimble Tech, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Montgomery. When Montgomery last faced the Bulldogs back in October of 2023, he rushed for 103 yards and three touchdowns.
