The Parsippany Redhawks lost against the Pompton Lakes Cardinals back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Parsippany was the victim of a tough 67-46 loss at the hands of Pompton Lakes. Parsippany was down 54-32 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Despite the loss, Parsippany saw an underclassman step up: David Niedermaier scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Thomas Niedermaier, who scored ten points.
Parsippany now has a losing record at 10-11. As for Pompton Lakes, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-7.
Parsippany will head out on the road to take on Hopatcong at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Parsippany is facing Hopatcong at the right time seeing as Hopatcong is stuck on a 15-game losing streak. As for Pompton Lakes, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Midland Park at 4:00 p.m. on February 13th. Midland Park will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Pompton Lakes surely won't give up without a fight.
