Whitehaven fell to Sacred Heart-Griffin 49-27 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Overton made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 6,496 from 6,733. The advance stemmed from a 38-35 victory over the Wolverines last week.
6-foot-2 quarterback Cedrick Wilson Jr. of White Station is the league leader in passing yards this season with 363. He has also thrown 4 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Terreyo Nailor. The Memphis East star has 6 catches for 92 yards.
An important game coming up in AAA District 16 this week will be when Overton takes on Hamilton. At the moment, Willie Steward's team is in fifth, while the Wildcats are in seventh.
The Spartans led the league in scoring this week by notching 38 points on the Wolverines.
