In what's become a running theme this season, the Methodist Children's Home Bulldogs gave their fans yet another huge victory on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 64-19 victory over Hill at home. With that win, Methodist Children's Home brought their scoring average up to 50.8 points per game.
Leading Methodist Children's Home to victory were Daraun Taylor and Londen Bickham. Taylor scored 22 points along with six assists and five rebounds, while Bickham dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds. Bickham is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last 11 games he's played. Elijah Williams was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with two steals.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Hill struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Methodist Children's Home pulled down 26 offensive rebounds.
Methodist Children's Home's victory bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Hill, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Flint Academy the next time they take the court. Methodist Children's Home will head out to face Flint Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Hill will host them on Friday.
