In what's become a running theme this season, the Hillsboro Burros gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They put the hurt on McGavock with a sharp 61-37 win. The victory was familiar territory for Hillsboro who now have six in a row.
Hillsboro's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Eboni Donaldson, who scored 19 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Donaldson has scored all season. Shinae Johnson was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
Hillsboro is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. As for McGavock, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-8.
Hillsboro does not have any more games scheduled as of now. McGavock also has no future games currently scheduled.
