The Belle Fourche Broncs lost against the Mobridge-Pollock Tigers back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The match between Belle Fourche and the Tigers wasn't particularly close, with the Broncs falling 65-49. Belle Fourche has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Belle Fourche still got an impressive performance from Jet Jensen, who scored 19 points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Sern Weishaar, who scored 11 points along with four steals.
Belle Fourche's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Mobridge-Pollock, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Belle Fourche will take on the Wildcats at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Custer is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. As for Mobridge-Pollock, they will play host again and welcome the Chargers, where tip off is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
