The Schlarman Hilltoppers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fifth straight loss. They were outmatched by Georgetown-Ridge Farm on the road and fell 45-17. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Schlarman in their matchups with Georgetown-Ridge Farm: they've now lost four in a row.
Despite the loss, Schlarman had strong showings from Devyn Gose, who scored three points, and Layla Briggs, who scored two points along with seven rebounds and five steals.
Schlarman dropped their record down to 1-15 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Georgetown-Ridge Farm, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-10.
Schlarman does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Georgetown-Ridge Farm also has no future games currently scheduled.
