Sedgwick added to the longest winning streak in Heart of America this week by beating Marion, 35-0. The win marks eighth in a row for the the Cardinals.
Sedgwick took down the Warriors 35-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Brylie Ware threw for 123 yards and 2 touchdowns and ran for 109 yards during the win.
Jeff Werner's team's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Dalton Brandt contributed 146 yards. Greer Chandler helped Sedgwick's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 41 yards.
Brandt was the best wideout in the league this week as the Cardinals defeated Marion. Brandt racked up 2 receptions for 58 yards. Chandler helped Sedgwick's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 41 yards.
Sedgwick's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Cardinals feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Ware has thrown for 2,481 yards and 25 touchdowns this season, while Chandler has 50 catches for 806 yards.
Sedgwick made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 2,575 from 2,978. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 35-0 victory over Grant Thierolf's team last week.
