Bradshaw Christian and Galt are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2022, but likely not for long. The Pride will be playing in front of their home fans against the Warriors at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bradshaw Christian will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
Bradshaw Christian took a six-run defeat the last time they faced off against Amador, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Pride came out on top in a nail-biter against the Buffaloes on Thursday, sneaking past 15-13.
Harlow Ahlstrom was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. Adriana Martinez was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Bradshaw Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Galt suffered their closest loss since April 10, 2025 on Thursday. They fell just short of Rosemont by a score of 5-3. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Zoey Sanchez spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and one unearned) runs on eight hits and racked up 12 Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Galt saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Makayla Moreno, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI.
Bradshaw Christian has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. As for Galt, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-9.
Bradshaw Christian got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in March against Galt by a conclusive 21-1 score. Do the Pride have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
