McCloud had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They took their game against Mercy on Saturday 57-49.
The win got McCloud out to a 1-0 start for the season. The loss dropped Mercy's record to 0-2.
Both teams will be heading out of the conference in their next games. McCloud will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Butte Valley at Changed from 9/7/18 at 6:00 PM. As for Mercy, they will face off against Dunsmuir. Mercy continues their travels as they hit the road for the second straight contest.
