Even though the Sun Valley Spartans scored an imposing 55 points on Thursday, the Parkwood Wolf Pack still came out on top. Parkwood took their   game against Sun Valley   63-55. With that  victory, Parkwood brought their scoring average up to 51  points per game.
  Cameron McKinney  continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines,  scoring 27 points. That makes it six consecutive games in which  he has scored at least 25% of Parkwood's points. Another player making a difference was  Greg Vinson, who  scored 11 points.
 Despite the loss, Sun Valley still got an impressive performance from   Nathan Tavares, who  scored 24 points along with seven  rebounds. The  contest was  Tavares' third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Devin Sumpter, who  scored 13 points.
 The  win  got Parkwood back to even at 5-5. As for Sun Valley, they are  on a three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 3-8.
 Parkwood and Northwest Cabarrus will face off  at 4:00  p.m.  on December 29, 2023 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Sun Valley and Albemarle will face off  at 1:30  p.m.  on December 29, 2023 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Albemarle is hoping to put an end to  a five-game streak of away losses.
