Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Burlington). They enjoyed a cozy 73-55 victory over the Union Grove Broncos on Friday. The win was some much needed relief for the Demons as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Burlington's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Union Grove, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Burlington will venture away from home to take on Elkhorn at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Elkhorn's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Union Grove, they will head out to face off against Milwaukee Reagan at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
