Yancarlos Cordova posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Saturday. He pitched 3.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. The performance also marked the fewest walks (two) he has had since back in April of 2024. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season.
