They took a 45-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of Highland Christian Academy. Grace Christian Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Highland Christian Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.
Despite the loss, Grace Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Chloe Brogdon, who almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine rebounds. Brogdon continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.
Even though they lost, Grace Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. This was only their 11th loss (out of 12 games) when they hit their own glass that hard.
Grace Christian Academy's defeat was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Highland Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 3-15 record this season.
Grace Christian Academy will head out on the road to face off against Fullington Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fullington Academy will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Grace Christian Academy surely won't give up without a fight. As for Highland Christian Academy, they will square off against Crisp Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
