Bayside Academy won the last time they faced Montgomery Catholic and things went their way on Saturday too. The Admirals came out on top against the Knights by a score of 2-0.

While Bayside Academy won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-23.

Grier Broughton paced Bayside Academy's offense, picking up eight kills. Broughton got some help from Sophie Hester and her 19 assists. Hester was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Bayside Academy is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. As for Montgomery Catholic, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 15-6.

Bayside Academy has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Mobile Christian on the 13th. As for Montgomery Catholic, they will head out to take on Saint James at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
