If Wheat Ridge wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Mullen, they should've done a better job of containing Mason Bonner. The Mustangs blew past the Farmers 91-35 on Monday for which the team can thank Bonner, who dropped a double-double with 22 points and 14 rebounds. The matchup was his fifth in a row with at least 18 points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Nick Marcoux, who posted four points and five boards. He has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times he's played.

Wheat Ridge lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Leif Wilson, who had 12 points. Danny Otte was another key player, putting up seven points and five rebounds.

Mullen now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Wheat Ridge, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Mullen wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 91-54 win against Lakewood on the 8th. As for Wheat Ridge, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 65-40 loss against Fairview on the 10th.
