The biggest upset of the week belonged to West Springfield, who took down 148th ranked Putnam Vo-Tech, 35-28.
Amherst-Pelham Regional moved up to 148 from 176 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Suburban. The Hurricanes climbed the ranks as a result of a bye.
The Beavers' Kajuan Bynum and Rishawn Harris have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Bynum has thrown for 995 yards this season, while Harris, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has 20 catches for 376 yards. South Hadley's T.J. Fitzell leads the league in rushing yards with 717.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Tigers take on Putnam Vo-Tech. South Hadley is currently in first, while Bill Watson's team is in third.
There should be lots of points scored when Eric Scammons' team and the Beavers face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, the Tigers comes in having scored 313 this season, while Putnam Vo-Tech has scored 162.
Chicopee Comp took down Cathedral 27-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
