The Louise Hornets's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They received a tough blow as they fell 51-34 to Weimar. Louise lost against Weimar in their previous head to head back in January of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 42-19 score last time.
Despite the loss, Louise still got an impressive performance from Madison Grant, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds.
Louise has been struggling recently, as they've lost 12 of their last 15 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season. As for Weimar, their win bumped their record up to 10-11.
Louise will head out on the road to face off against Bloomington at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Bloomington will be looking to keep their seven-game home win streak alive. Weimar will take on Ganado at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Ganado focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 33 on Tuesday.
