Xenia is 2-7 against Stebbins since December of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Xenia Buccaneers will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against the Stebbins Indians at 11:45 a.m.
After a string of three wins, Xenia's good fortune finally ran out last Friday. They fell just short of Butler by a score of 26-24.
Meanwhile, the stars were shining brightly for Stebbins in a 36-22 victory over Troy on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Stebbins.
Xenia's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Stebbins, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Xenia didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Stebbins in their previous meeting back in January, but they still walked away with a 56-50 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Xenia since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
