 Western Christian  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .730. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
 Western Christian's win  ended  a  five-game drought at home  dating back to last season and  bumped them up to 8-9. As for Capistrano Valley Christian, their  victory (their first of the  season) made their record 1-9.
