Volleyball Recap: Eman Takes a Loss

Eman lost 3-0 to the Indiana School for the Deaf Deaf Hoosiers on Saturday.

While Eman was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Indiana School for the Deaf's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-12, 25-18.

Zeynep Erdogan paced Eman's offense, picking up three kills. Erdogan got some help from Iman Hallab and her five assists. Erdogan was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Indiana School for the Deaf can attribute much of their success to Bailee Presley, who had six aces and four digs. Those six aces gave Presley a new career-high.

Eman's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Indiana School for the Deaf, they moved to 10-6 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eman will head out to square off against BELIEVE Circle City at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Indiana School for the Deaf, they will venture away from home to face off against Herron at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
