Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Austin). They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat the Sharpstown Apollos 70-8. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 33-4.

Austin is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.0 points per game. As for Sharpstown, they are on a 23-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Austin wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 49-24 defeat against Galena Park on the 16th. Sharpstown will take on Madison in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
