On Friday, the Vintage Crushers kept a clean sheet against the Justin-Siena Braves. They had just enough and edged the Braves out 1-0. Given Vintage's advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 464th, while Justin-Siena is ranked 1181st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Vintage's one-goal win came courtesy of
Xavier Lopez, which was the first he's scored this season.
Vintage's win bumped their record up to 9-7-3. As for Justin-Siena, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-18-1.
Vintage does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Justin-Siena also has no future games currently scheduled.
