The Milan Wildcats lost against the Polo Panthers back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Milan took a 43-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of Polo. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Milan has scored all season.
Milan's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Marian Dabney, who scored 14 points along with three steals, and Emerson Pauley who scored ten points along with three steals.
Milan's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Polo, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Milan will play host again and welcome Maysville, where tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Maysville comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. Polo will be home for the holidays to greet Putnam County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Putnam County and Polo are at an even 4-4 over their past eight head-to-heads.
