The Shoals Christian Flame will challenge the Sheffield Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Shoals Christian will be strutting in after a victory while Sheffield will be coming in after a loss.
Having struggled with eight defeats in a row, Shoals Christian turned things around against Phillips on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 9-3 margin over the Bears. The Flame not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since March 11th.

Natalee Saylor was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched. Those eight strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-2.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Sarah Davis, who went 3-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Savannah May, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Sheffield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 40th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 17-0 to Vina.
Shoals Christian's win bumped their record up to 9-15. As for Sheffield, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-20.
Sheffield's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Shoals Christian hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .328. It's a different story for Sheffield, though, as they've only averaged .116. Will they be able to contain Shoals Christian's hitters?
Everything went Shoals Christian's way against Sheffield in their previous meeting back in February, as Shoals Christian made off with a 23-4 victory. Will the Flame repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
