Bishop Walsh (Cumberland, Md.) scored 32 points in the second quarter to secure a big 58-14 victory over Notre Dame (Clarksburg, W. Va.) on Saturday.
The Spartans scored on a touchdown run, a rushing touchdown, a passing touchdown and a passing touchdown in the quarter.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run in the first quarter, Bishop Walsh led 38-0 at the half.
BW expanded its lead to 50 points entering the fourth quarter. The Cumberland school scored two times in the third, including once on a defensive touchdown.
With the win the Spartans extended their winning streak to five games. Bishop Walsh defeated the Saints 46-28 last week.
Notre Dame (3-2) goes up against Liberty in a non-conference game matchup next week, while Bishop Walsh (5-0) locks horns with St. Mary's Ryken in a Freelance game.
