Baseball Game Preview: Ballard Beavers vs. Seattle Prep Panthers

The Ballard Beavers will square off against the Seattle Prep Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Inglemoor hit Ballard with a four-run seventh inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Beavers came up short against the Vikings, falling 11-4. The Beavers' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Miles Soja made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and fired off two home runs, three RBI, and one stolen base while going 3-for-3. He also scored two runs, which is notable because Ballard is 4-2 when he posts at least two runs, but 6-7 otherwise. Adam Brennecke also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Seattle Prep, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They came out on top against Garfield by a score of 7-2 on Monday.

Seattle Prep pushed their record up to 11-9 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Ballard, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-9.

Ballard got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in March of 2025 against Seattle Prep by a conclusive 6-0 score. Do the Beavers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
