It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the Babylon Panthers ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They walked away with a 51-42 win over Mattituck. The win made it back-to-back wins for Babylon.
Babylon got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Delaney Busch out in front who scored ten points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Busch has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Peyton Logue-boyd, who scored 11 points.
Babylon has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a massive bump to their 10-6 record this season. As for Mattituck, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Babylon will take on the Islanders at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
