The Whale Branch Warriors posted their biggest win yet this season on Monday. Everything went their way against Bridges Prep as Whale Branch made off with a 50-25 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Whale Branch.
Whale Branch found their leader in underclassman Zaria Coaxum, who scored 27 points along with eight rebounds and five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Coaxum has scored all season. Larmore Pryor was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with six steals.
Whale Branch has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-13 record this season. As for Bridges Prep, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-8.
Whale Branch will take on Allendale-Fairfax at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Allendale-Fairfax presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Whale Branch in South Carolina (Allendale-Fairfax is ranked 76th, while Whale Branch is ranked 247th). As for Bridges Prep, they will head out on the road to take on Bethune-Bowman at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
