T.C. Roberson came into Friday's matchup having lost eight straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They secured a 39-33 W over Enka on Friday. The victory was just what T.C. Roberson needed coming off of a 76-23 loss in their prior match.
Meanwhile, Asheville unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They were dealt a 74-39 loss at the hands of A.C. Reynolds. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Asheville in their matchups with the Rockets: they've now lost four in a row.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Hayziah Dillingham, who scored 17 points along with six steals. She has been hot recently, having posted four or more steals the last four times she's played. Evie Bick was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with 13 rebounds and two steals.
T.C. Roberson's victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-14. As for Asheville, their loss dropped their record down to 11-8.
Things could have been worse for T.C. Roberson, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 49-34 loss to the Cougars when the teams last played back in January. Will T.C.
