Sweetwater scaled the state rankings by moving to 419 from 471 this week, the biggest jump in Metro - Pacific. The Red Devils climbed the ranks as a result of defeating Mar Vista 28-27.
Montgomery took down Southwest 24-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Castle Park's dynamic duo of Jordan Danielson and Luq Barcoo proved to be unstoppable against San Ysidro, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Danielson threw for 76 yards and Barcoo had 60 yards receiving.
Mater Dei Catholic's Marco Morales and Evan Bebee have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Morales has thrown for 555 yards this season, while Bebee has 17 catches for 272 yards. Antonio Garcia from Sweetwater leads the league in rushing with 567 yards.
The Trojans' offense has recorded 174 points this season, making them No. 1 in the league, while the Aztecs have permitted only 181 on the year.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Montgomery takes on Castle Park. As it stands, Ted Jarumayan's team is in third, while Hans Graham's team is in first.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when the Aztecs take on the Trojans. Montgomery has allowed 181 points this season, while Castle Park has given up 183. The Aztecs allowed 6 points last week as they beat the Raiders.
Brian Hay's team and the Mariners played the closest game in Metro - Pacific this week, with Brian Hay's team eventually emerging with a 28-27 victory. Angel Reyes ran for 156 yards during the win.
