St. Francis Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kovii Boldt out in front who scored 16 points along with five steals. Those 16 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Diezel Vagle, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds.
Despite the loss, First Baptist still got an impressive performance from Levi Borner , who scored 27 points along with three steals. The contest was Borner 's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Caleb Lindsay was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
St. Francis Christian's win was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1. As for First Baptist, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5.
