Central put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They strolled past the Springdale Bulldogs with points to spare, taking the game 26-7. This was payback for the Tigers, who suffered a 49-21 loss the last time these two teams met.

When it comes to explaining why Springdale lost, don't look at Carson Hayter. Despite the final result, he rushed for 97 yards on only ten carries.

Central's victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

After each having a week off, Central and Southside will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on the 12th. As for Springdale, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 52-41 win against Van Buren on the 5th.
