It was fun while it lasted, but Terra Linda's undefeated season came to an end after eight games on Saturday. They fell 55-43 to the Albany Cougars. The loss put an end to the Trojans' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Terra Linda fell to 8-1. As for Albany, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-1.

Terra Linda will take on Piner in a tournament on Thursday. Albany will take on El Cerrito in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Albany knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully El Cerrito likes a good challenge.
