On Friday, Ware Shoals are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Travelers Rest at Travelers Rest HS at 7:30 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-40, which was the final score in Ware Shoals's tilt against Greenwood Raptors last Friday. Ware Shoals were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-26.
Meanwhile, Travelers Rest were fully in charge last week, breezing past Carolina Academy 63-0. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-0.
Travelers Rest's win lifted them to 2-0 while Ware Shoals's loss dropped them down to 0-2. We'll find out if Travelers Rest can add another positive mark to their record or if Ware Shoals can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Travelers Rest's step.
