If Bourne were riding high off their 48-20 takedown of Wareham last week, that ride came to an abrupt end. Bourne took a hard 12-28 fall against Case. If Bourne were hoping to take revenge for the 6-26 defeat against Case the last time the teams met, then they were left disappointed.
The loss dropped Bourne's record to 2-1. The win bumped Case's record up to 3-0.
Bourne will be staying on the road next week, facing off against Martha's Vineyard Regional. Both of those teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'. As for Case, they will face off against Fairhaven. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous games.
