The Sharpstown Apollos will head out on the road to face off against the Waltrip Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 25 consecutive losses dating back to last season for Sharpstown and 11 for Waltrip dating back to last season.
On Saturday, Sharpstown came up short against Milby and fell 32-20. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Sharpstown in their matchups with Milby: they've now lost five in a row.
Meanwhile, Waltrip had to suffer through a rough 55-12 loss at the hands of Galena Park. Waltrip was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-6.
Sharpstown's loss was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-8. As for Waltrip, their loss dropped their record down to 0-10.
Sharpstown was taken down by Waltrip 61-19 when the teams last played back in February. Can Sharpstown avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
