The Meadowdale Lions stacked a tenth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 65-28 win over Stivers School for the Arts. The win was nothing new for Meadowdale as they're now sitting on five straight.
Leading Meadowdale to victory were Zhieyah Rolack and Janiyah Middlebrook. Rolack dropped a double-double on 24 points and 19 rebounds, while Middlebrook dropped a double-double on 30 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Rolack has scored at least a third of Meadowdale's points. Another player making a difference was Jayla Walker, who scored seven points along with four steals.
Meadowdale's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.9 points per game. As for Stivers School for the Arts, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-13.
Meadowdale will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Miami Trace at 1:30 p.m. As for Stivers School for the Arts, they will head out on the road to challenge Thurgood Marshall at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
