They suffered a tough 86-60 defeat at the hands of the Bulldogs. Westbrook Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-20.
Despite the loss, Westbrook Christian still got an impressive performance from Eli Edge, who almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine rebounds. Edge is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last eight games he's played. Nolan Terrell was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with two steals.
This is the second loss in a row for Westbrook Christian and nudges their season record down to 16-12. As for Geraldine, they have been performing well recently as they've won 15 of their last 18 games, which provided a nice bump to their 22-7 record this season.
Westbrook Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Geraldine, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Piedmont at 2:30 p.m. Geraldine is coming into the match with 11 straight victories at home, so Piedmont is out to stop a squad with plenty of momentum.
