The Lake Howell Silverhawks will face off against the Winter Springs Bears at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Lake Howell comes in on 12 and Winter Springs on four.
On Monday, Lake Howell got the win against Timber Creek by a conclusive 12-1. The result was nothing new for the Silverhawks, who have now won ten contests by six runs or more so far this season.
Rhianna Hudson made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Tiffany Seemann spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on four hits.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Katelyn Wassey, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Alondra Maldonado, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
Lake Howell pushed their record up to 18-4 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.2 runs over those games. As for Winter Springs, their victory bumped their record up to 16-7.
Tuesday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Lake Howell hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .331. However, it's not like Winter Springs struggles in that department as they've averaged .335. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Lake Howell might still be hurting after the 8-1 defeat they got from Winter Springs when the teams last played back in March. Will the Silverhawks have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other softball content.
